Patient # 1
Numerous breast lift techniques are available. A circumareolar technique is chosen when only a small lift is necessary. Dr. DeLuca prefers the vertical mastopexy (‘Lollipop incision’) for women who require a more significant lift. Patient # 2
This patient required a significant breast lift and a vertical mastopexy technique (‘Lollipop incision’) was chosen. As can be seen with this patient, the vertical mastopexy can be used to restore youthfulness to saggy breasts without placing an additional horizontal incision along the entire breast fold (the crease under the breast) as is used with the traditional Inverted-T (‘Anchor incision’) mastopexy.
